It took 5 efforts for Kevin's workers to complete the work on my house due to careless sloppy work. They left so many nail holes in the shoe mold that they had to go buy all new pieces. They also left soft spongy places in my new LVP floor because some areas were uneven, but Kevin never bothered to tell me this, he laid the floor down anyway. The crews did not sand down patches that were left in the sheetrock, so they had to cut some areas back out. The shoe mold and transition piece cracked while they were being installed and Kevin's response was "you can't see it", not "I will fix it" or I am sorry or anything like that. I had to ask multiple times for everything to be redone over and over again. They left paint all over my floor and recliner. They attempted to build back my stairs twice and after the second time Kevin suggested that I just keep that portion of the money from the insurance company because they couldn't do it and the top step was falling in. They also left 2 foot footprints on the newly stained stairs and Kevin swears they did not do it. Each time we pointed out things that were sloppy he acted like we were wrong for pointing them out and said things like "this stuff is so microscopic." Kevin supplemented $473 for storage and put back of furniture and they did no such thing. My pregnant wife and I had to uncover all the furniture, clean it, and then move it all back the way it was. I refused to pay Kevin the $473 because he wants that payment from the insurance company without doing that portion of the work. All of his equipment stayed in my garage for weeks and we couldn't use our own garage for at least a month. Now I am getting threatened that a lien will be filed against my home if I do not pay the remaining $473. I have already called my adjuster and asked if I could send the check back to them, this is not about the money. It is about lack of integrity, poor workmanship, and laziness.
