Henry County Recycling Center

Today makes the second time that I have come to this location and they are closed during their listed normal business hours! I was dropping off my recyclables on my way to work, and now I have to drive around with all of this in my car! I am trying to do what little part I can to protect the planet! This is extremely unprofessional and needs to be address immediately by whoever manages this facility! They were a number of vehicles pulling up as I was and we are all left disappointed!

Frustrating! I only get a chance to recycle on Saturdays, I checked the Henry County Recycling website noticed that the hours had changed to 1:30 PM sometime earlier this year. So why on May 27, 2023 I arrived at 12:50 PM the gates were locked, this is not the only time this had occurred to me and many others. This poor business practice is not right nor fair for the taxpayers. It appears that no management oversight is being conducted or required and that's a failure on the part of our elected officials. I have read the many complaints for this county service and no changes nor improvements have been implemented which is mind blowing that our voices are not being heard or addressed. My next step will be to file a complaint to City Hall.

The website said they were open until 4 today 1/2/23 until I arrived and they were closed. This has happened before. Unacceptable!

They close the gates half an hour early Often they are helpful and nice, but sometimes you get unlucky and get a rude, group of folks.
