THE OWNER TREATED MY FRIEND LIKE DIRT AFTER SHE WAS SO LOYAL TO HER AND HER BUSINESS. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO FOR COUNSELING!!

We had scheduled urgent grief counseling for my kids. They had just experienced the death of a parent. I was assured our 2 kids could be counseled together to start, they understood how urgent it was, completed all the paperwork and proved insurance info and debit card. After a 15 minute late start to the appointment, we went back to speak with the therapist, Sandra. She was very concerned with getting our insurance info and payment info. She spoke about my children like they werent in the room. She continued to ask us questions about the kids like they werent even there. It was so heartbreaking - it felt like she didnt care what they are going through. I dont even think she addressed them directly. We ended up leaving early. I am so ashamed that I brought my kids here when they needed help. It did so much more harm than good. Overall, the communication lacks so greatly that it made a terrible moment much more difficult. I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

Horrible experience. The receptionist or intake person normally has a bad attitude. She is insenstive. Called to have therapy for my daugters. Therapy was scheduled w/Zhana Davis. Therapists did not show up. There was no follow-up with them, Zhana, or the clinical manager. I was told the clinical manager would call me in regards to the incident (after sitting for more than an hour awaiting service) but did not receive a phone call. I've contacted and left vociemails for the clinical manager, and there was no returned phone call. This was over a week ago. Still a week later, there was no response. I highly would not recommend this company.

This company has been a absolute nightmare! They failed to reach out to me regarding a billing matter and decided to immediately send a bill to a collection agency for therapy that occurred in 2020. The collection agency reached out to me in August 2023. Not only did my previous employer satisfy the balance they also provided me with a invoice from them and my employer provided me with a canceled check. No one at Thriveworks billing department will return my call or speak to me. I immediately forwarded the canceled check to the collection agency when they reported the bill to the credit bureau and all I can get from the collector is that they are working on it and it can take 30 days to get it removed. Wellsfargo confirmed that Thriveworks received and cashed the check my previous employer sent them. If you experienced a similar situation I highly recommend that you reach out to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission.
