JCPenney Salon

Shout to my stylist JANETTE for doing an amazing job on my hair .I went in for color and highlights.She was so kind and overall had beautiful energy .I felt so comfortable and after she did my hair my confidence came back .This was the first time I met her and was nervous at first because I been to this salon in the past with different stylists and I didnt like how they did my hair .Im very happy I found her ,she will be my stylist now .The salon is nice and clean .The prices are reasonable.Thanks Jcpenny & Janette

My hair was BEAUTIFULLY BURNT smh. The lady who did my hair was in such a rush until she burned my hair curling it while it was wet and when I got home it was brittle crisp smh. DAMAGED

I decided to visit my local JCPenny on a Sunday and Ms.Tilda was working. After the initial consultation she shared that she has been doing hair for 41 YEARS and she understood the science of hair. I know my hair porosity and what works and what doesnt and she is the most knowledgeable stylist Ive met since I was getting my hair done in my twenties. She was so pleasantly surprised I wanted a wet set, is Olaplex certified, understood the hair follicle, combed from the tip to the root, was gentle with my hair and even used a scalp massager with my shampoo! I feel like Im in hair heaven.

I've gone to Nicole at the JC Penny in McDonough for the third time now. I wanted to make sure I had multiple experiences with her before writing my review. First off, just know my hair was DAMAGED badly and shedding prior to Nicole working her magic on me. I also experienced major heat damage from going to a few different Dominican salon right here in McDonough. My first visit included a rinse to cover my pesky gray hair, highlights, deep condition and silk press and a major cut. I was lowkey annoyed at how much hair was on the floor, but it was damaged and needed to be cut. It was not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and Nicole is a licensed hair stylist. The next time, i went it was a wash, conditioning treatment and rod set. The following week i washed my own hair for the first time and was shocked at how my hair was full of curls and not shedding as it had been doing previously. I didn't have any long straight pieces and my hair once again was nice and thick. If you are looking for a license colorist and someone who is going to treat your hair and get it healthy, go ahead and give Nicole a try. Tell her TammiJ sent you.
