I am updating my review. First, I want to acknowledge that the staff members at this location genuinely care about animals. That said, the cost of services here is exorbitant. For that reason, I now take my dog to a more affordable veterinary clinic. Since this location is closer to my home, I would still bring my dog here once a month to have her nails trimmed and pick up her monthly heartworm medication. Today, I called to set up a time to pick up my dogs heartworm medication and get her nails trimmed again. The woman I spoke with told me my dog was due for her physical. I let her know my dog has already had a physical at her primary vet, and I would be happy to request that the clinic send the records over. The woman informed me that they would not accept those records. She then reviewed my dogs file and acknowledged that her heartworm test was current. With that in mind, I cannot fathom why my dog would still be required to have a physical performed to receive her heartworm medication and get her nails trimmed. I understand they want to be thorough, but this feels excessive and nonsensical, not to mention expensive. I am bummed about this, but I will likely not return. ---------------------- I took my new rescue dog, Zoey, here for the first time today and had a positive experience. Although I did not have an appointment, the staff was able to accommodate me as a walk-in. They were courteous, professional, and provided great service for Zoey. The vet provided a thorough summary of Zoey's check-up and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with my experience here.

VCA has always been good to us! The staff know my dog's name by heart and are very sweet to him, and everyone is very nice; helping us out with appointments, recommendations for our dog, etc. I recommend VCA if you're looking for a caring and friendly vet location for your pet!

The staff were friendly. However, I went in on a *Free First Exam* promo and still ended up paying quite a bit for the standard yearly shots for my dog. Then was scheduled for follow up shots only 2 weeks later at additional cost. Took my husband's dog to a different vet a week later, and ended up paying about $115 less for the exam, shots, and a nail trim in 1 visit. I won't be returning to VCA.
