I've used Kristi Motter Photography several times over the years for pictures of my daughters. They are always beautiful and worth every penny. She is also very affordable. I highly recommend her!!

Kristi did an amazing job. Working with teenagers is not easy and she captured the very essence of my daughter and her personality for her senior photo shoot. I will definitely have her do many more photo sessions.

Amazing work! 9 years of photos and counting! She takes the time and attention to get the shots you will love forever, but moves quickly so the little ones dont melt down!

We used Kristi for our recent newborn photoshoot and I couldnt praise her enough!! She came highly recommended from my mom friends/neighbors and Ive seen her photos on their Facebook pages so I was excited to work with her. Making sure I could see their portfolio was important to me. At the same time, I was super nervous as 1) Newborns are unpredictable - when we did my sons newborn shoot with a different photographer, it was a terrible experience so I was already scarred by that. 2) Now we have a 2.5 year old to add to the mix and hes hitting the terrible 2s hard and still adjusting to having a new baby at home 3) I have a husband who cant tolerate any photos taken of him . 4) I had a c-section and I was worried about my recovery 5) Our family is awkward at posing and we need help wherever we can get it... Kristi did a terrific job at managing all my fears!! Well in advance, she gave me an idea of how the shoot was going to go, gave me pricing and packaging options well laid out, gave me pros and cons of her packages (lifestyle versus studio) and offered to take a tour of her studio to look at props and get some ideas to prepare for the shoot. I sent her some inspo and different sentimental props I wanted her to use and she was totally open to my vision and not offended (as some photographers might be). Then a week before, she called me to assuage my anxieties once again and went over specifically how the morning was going to go, what to bring to make things go easier (paci, baby bottle, etc.) and because she has kids the same age as mine, she knew exactly what to expect from my 2.5 year old. This was helpful as I was super sleep deprived at this point so I needed things nicely laid out. On actual shoot day, the morning/afternoon couldnt have gone smoother. She somehow made my newborn sleep through most of the shoot (it was a miracle! Baby whisperer indeed. She even got her to take the pacifier when I had no luck at home..) and my husband who hates these things even mentioned how comfortable he felt. She took her time with my son and even got him to smile! Just make sure you block out enough time in your day. She made us feel at home and at ease and my gallery captured that perfectly. Each pose was unique (I didnt even know you could get your babys hands to pose like that!!) and she was easy to work with (helping us pose naturally). She also took her time and even had to split our shoot because she wanted more time to get additional poses (at no additional cost). I appreciated that because she wanted quality photos and so we would have many options to choose from. Lastly, her studio is super clean, she had refreshments for adults, diapers and wipes for the baby, surprise treats for toddlers and she had SO many beautiful props to choose from (baskets, wraps, etc.) The selection process after was easy and she does an amazing job editing the photos, working with your vision. She processed them quickly too! If youre looking for a patient and talented newborn or even a family photographer, Kristi is the way to go! I never realized til now what an art-form it is to capture babies and kids through photography!
