        Agree with the basic theme with these reviews. Dr. Holmes is an excellent doctor. Have been seeing him for 12 years. The Wellstar admin experience leaves much to be desired. Do not waste your time trying to contact the office. Sign up for internet access through the portal and things are pretty smooth.

        No idea who Dr. Holmes is as a doctor, my nuerologist is getting ready to retire, looking for new doctor, I was told you can't make an appointment unless you have a referral, even if I've been treated my entire life for epilepsy? Nope maybe you family medical doctor can refer you. But only if they are a wellstar doctor. Really? Worse office personnel ever, maybe they just need to say sorry we're not accepting new patients, doesn't sound like they really want to see new patients.

        Dr. Holmes is great but his office staff and nursing staff is horrible! They do not return phone calls and you wait on hold for 40 minutes just to leave a message. My mom tried for over a week to get in touch with Dr. Holmes about a change in medicine she desperately needed, and she finally got a call back from the rude nurse 10 days later!!! How this office is run is absolutely ridiculous!!! It is a shame because he is a great doctor.
