I messaged their FB page on Friday to learn their food pantry hours, I was told they were 8:30-1:30pm Monday-Wednesday. This Monday I arrived at 12pm to an empty Church. I messaged the FB again and they gave me the pastors number. He said to come anytime after 8:30 and they would have food for me. I texted him after my job interviews just after 12pm to ask if I could still come, he said it was too late. I said I had no interviews today so I would make it. I got there at 8:52 PM this morning and my exact message to the pastor was I am here at 8:52am. If there was no food bank this morning why would you send me a thumbs up and not say so? I will not try this church again. Thank you. And his response was Very poor attitude. The Pastor said this to me when I have driven to the church twice based on the hours they have given me looking for food, expending gas that could go to food AND right before thanksgiving.
My review: Very poor communication. And very poor care for the community, unfortunately even from the Pastor himself.
