Nelson Masonry did some repair work to our brick porch, steps and recemented caps on stacked stone walls. They also cleaned up a section of brick where the builder did a sloppy job. We were very happy with their timeliness, the owners, crew and the end results. We highly recommend them for any masonry work.

I am the director of maintenance of a senior community in Marietta Ga. I called Nelson to repair 4 chimneys that was leaking water into four of my apts. They first did a wrong chimney. The only way I found out, it was still leaking water into the apt below. Out of the now 5 chimneys 2 are still leaking. The Original scope of work, were to replace shourd, pan and tuck point. The 1st time I called them back out they said I need an engineer to do the restructuring of the chimneys framing. I had that done by a great engineering co. (Knoble) which costed more monies. keep in mind when the wrong chimney was done. I had to pay more to get it done, and it is still leaking. I sent a email to the owner of Nelson and he said that the bricks were wicking water. that's why it was still leaking water. I told him I didn't believe that. he than stated that he could do a finishing on the chimney that would change the look of the chimney and that would stop the leak. he also blames the original built of the chimney, and state that he only did the original work off of a photo I sent him in the beginning. my Question to that is while his crew was on the roof working on the chimneys could they not see 1st hand what needed to be done? I would not recommend this company for any work. at least for any future work for company or refer them to anyone else.

Choosing Nelson Masonry to do our homes brick repair was the best decision we could have made! They were professional, informative, and HONEST about the actual work that needed to be done to take care of our problem VS. other companies we called. Good people, great results!
