I worked with Melissa as my lactation consultant and she was amazing! She came to my home for 3 separate visits. The first two visits were during an extremely vulnerable time for me (1-3 weeks postpartum) and she helped me through my decisions around breastfeeding and pumping. She guided me how to do both as options and even helped me relieve discomfort I was experiencing. I couldnt have made it this far in my postpartum journey without her support. Melissa has been amazing to work with! My breastfeeding journey has been full of challenges and Melissa has always been so kind an patient and encouraged me every step of the way. I would not have made it this far without her, I cant recommend her enough!

I cannot reccomend Lactation Consultants of Atlanta enough!!! Jana is the absolute kindest, sweetest, and most supportive consultant. Not only did she save my nursing/pumping journey, she greatly helped my postpartum mental health and general baby development knowledge. Her knowledge base is incredible and her reccomendations are spot on!! She even referred us to an awesome specialist for my sons tongue tie and an amazing peds Chiropractor that made the BIGGEST difference in my son!! I plan on gifting a prenatal consult to any of my expecting friends moving forward. If you are struggling with anything breastfeeding related or just want some guidance, do not hesitate to see this team!! you 100% will not regret it.

I have been absolutely amazed at the quality of care I have recieved from Melissa. If it were not for her, I would have given up my breastfeeding journey a very long time ago. Having a newborn with oral ties has been extremely challenging and frustrating. Melissa has done an excellent job of helping my baby and I get back to the breast and has been giving me the emotional encouragment I need. I also would never have known about my daughters ties had Melissa not noticed them the very first visit, so she saved us there. If you're looking for an excellent lactation consultant who pays close attention to detail and listens to your concerns seriously, I would highly recommend Melissa
