The Psychiatry NP was really great. Listened and we spoke for a long time about what was going on. He was very professional and spoke at length about possible treatment options. I did not like the counseling aspect. This was my first time trying counseling and I wasn't sure what to expect. I told the counselor this but she still made me feel like I was supposed to know what to do or what to say. The first session went okay, I'd score it a 7.5/10, the second session was more of a 3/10. Very little empathy, very little response, it almost felt like I was paying someone to completely ignore me. Also, when I called before the first appointment to verify I was in the correct location, the operator couldn't just tell me if I was at the correct address, they wanted every detail of who I was and, what felt like, another background history before confirming the office location. So, if you're new or unfamiliar with the specific location, I would highly recommend searching out the office a few days ahead of time.

I actually enjoyed talking to Magaen she was very understanding and helpful.
