I reached out to Heide Contracting to remove a 32+ft long load-bearing wall between my living room, dining room, and kitchen. They were amazing throughout the whole process. I started looking for companies in early December for a quote and was able to get a quick turnaround for a home visit; he was professional, on time, knowledgeable, and was able to write me a formal estimate later that day. After getting a handful of quotes from other contractors I ended up working with HC due to the owner's professionalism, accreditation, and knowledge. They were flexible with me and started work right before the holidays; they finished up just in time and everything looks amazing! A massive recessed beam and supports were installed and covered up in just a couple of days; the company also did the electrical work, respected my home, and hauled away their rubble (plus a handful of things I needed to toss!). The owner, Alex Heide, was responsive to all of my nosy questions, made sure to keep me updated with photos and text messages throughout the process, and even offered advice on other projects I was considering. They also honored their estimate by the end of the project. This is a company that I will definitely use again in the future. Thank you! Heide contracting has done several renovations on my rental properties, but most recently did an extreme makeover of my primary residence. We had tight deadlines due to our new son being born in April. This was an extremely complex project. So complex it was hard to even find people that thought it could be done. Alex Heide, the owner of Heide contracting, was able to complete our renovation on a tight time frame and below budget. I have worked with a lot of contractors and none have the creativity, can do attitude, and commitment to get the job done like Heide contracting. Thank you Alex!
