My first mammogram was a nightmare. I hurt so bad with breast soreness and tenderness for a whole week. So when they called me back for a second scan, I put it off for 6 months. My pcp finally caught up to me and said I really need to go back, so I did. I got a sweet lady, named Emily, who took good care of me and not 1 time did it hurt or feel too uncomfortable. I am glad that she showed me that mammograms aren't as bad as my first experience. I hope to get her in my future visits.

They were very professional and understanding to me and of me and my concerns I found lumps in both of my breast small and large the wait time was not long and I felt good and comfortable because I was there with other women and young women getting treated the doctor took her time and viewed my results and diagnosed me the same day and told me what I had and if they lumps don't go away they will keep checking and verifying what it is comes to find out it was just fatty breast tissue that went away in days or a week thank you Jesus for your grace and the Wonder Breast Cancer Staff

The staff here are nice and friendly. However, the diagnostic capability at Atrium Health is low. A breast cancer of invasive ductal carcinoma diagnosed here turned out to be DCIS ( ductal carcinoma in situ) . The two diseases are treated completely different.
