        They obviously hire anyone there , the customer service is deplorable. Customer care needs to be screened or autogenerated better to speak to s computer then their live agents over here. The incompetent trash that answers is disgusting

        These people are incompetent. I've called several times to let them know they have the wrong number but they refuse to change it. The person who used to have this number apparently ghosted them ...and their water bill. This has been going on for six months now and frankly at this point whoever this chick is, she's probably got a good lawsuit because they have no problem letting strangers know someone isn't paying their bills. Despite being told several times to remove my number, they don't seem to care.

        Had service set up for a former rental home while we were waiting to sell it. Never received any bills or updates or anything else until after it had already been disconnected. At that point the bill was nearly $200 for a house that had was empty. I would recommend not using them but they have a monopoly so you are pretty much stuck with them.

      Macon Water Authority

      The Macon Water Authority was formed in 1880 by an act of the Georgia General Assembly to serve as a public corporation. It provides municipal water and sewerage services for the city of Macon and Bibb County areas. Some of the departments of the Macon Water Authority are water distribution, sewerage conveyance, and laboratory and environmental compliance. In 2007, it was one of the six pilot communities to participate in a statewide educational program on outdoor water conservation. In 2009, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) conferred upon it, the honor of the Best Tasting Drinking Water in North America.
