        On the outside looking in this would appear to be a good organization, unfortunately, that is not the case. After witnessing numerous incidents of poor care for the individuals they are supposed to serve and advocate for, I resigned. Basic needs such as soap and cleansing wipes were not avaliable. Improper care resulted in severe injuries of individuals. I voiced my concerns and they fell on deaf ears. One of the house supervisors who has worked for The Arc Macon for years mentioned the mismanagement of funds several times in my presence. I hope and pray they improve care for individuals who do not have the capacity to speak up for themselves. Until then, I would not recommend sending your loved ones here.
