        Incredibly awful experience. Upon arrival, the front staff was taking a personal phone call on her AirPods the entire check in process. The room was terribly untidy for the additional $50 room fee that you pay, on top of standard room charges. What really alarmed me was upon departure, we made it to the elevator with our box of donuts before my boyfriend had about 15 ants crawling up his arm from the infestation of ants inside the donut box. We brought this box into the hotel at 10:30 pm, departed about 9:30 am. Would highly recommend avoiding this hotel.

        The hotel was nice, but we ran into a couple of issues When we walked in, the lady at the front desk looked at us confused as if shes never seen anyone walk in before. She asked for my name and asked if there was a different name it could be under without even searching for my booking. Then, the water was off when i went to brush my teeth at 12am after getting back from a concert. When we went to sleep, there was banging and drilling from the people working on the water heater at 3am apparently. My cousin staying with me did end up complaining and they comped our entire room. But things like this shouldnt be happening in the first place.. Macon, GA is beautiful and I loved my time here, I just wish we maybe had a different room and better service from the front desk :)

The front desk should always give you their undivided attention and we will definitely discuss this with the entire team. There is no additional $50 room fee, it is just a hold so you can enjoy charging to your room from the lounge or restaurant. This $50.00 goes right back to you account if you did not charge anything at the hotel. I am not sure where ants would have come from in your donut box but I will definitely have our pest control company look into this to see if there are any ants in the hotel.       Macenzie,I apologize for the issues that you experienced. We did have a plumbing emergency and needed to shut the water off overnight to take care of the issue. We did alert everyone at check in and also had a letter in every room to ensure guests knew there would be no water overnight, giving everyone the option of staying someplace else. We also had complimentary bottled water available in the room and several water stations and bottled water available at the front desk. Again, I do apologize for the issues you experienced and hope that this will not influence your future decisions when coming to Macon. Please come and give us another try.Hospitably,Jonathan Andre
