Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority and Macon Terminal Station

The female driver that was on the Ocmulgee/Tom Sr. Hill Blvd on 11/07/2023 around 10:30 a.m. is extremely rude. I don't know if it's personal or mental illness. This was not my first bout of rudeness from her. I was standing directly at a stop with the sign next to me, she saw me clearly, smirked and went pass the stop nearly 50 feet and then watched to see me walk with a heavy bag to get to the bus. Another occasion the same female driver would not allow me to bring my fold up mobility scooter on the bus with me. I would have been able to slide it beneath a seat. Instead of speaking nicely, she yelled rudely at me. Then told me to go talk to the man in the booth. The man at the booth acted as though he didn't even see nor hear me. After saying "sir" 4 times, he finally looked up like I was an inconvenience. If he or she doesn't want the job, let someone with better customer service skills and better attitudes have the jobs. And, the way they treat those with disabilities is outrageous! They need to have a whole class on proper Etiquette and treatment of fellow human beings.

A magnificent building with a lot of history. Thankfully, it is currently being used for many transportation purposes and as an event venue. Much work is being done to maintain or restore the beauty of the interior so that visitors interested in its previous life as a train station can appreciate its history.
