Waffle House

My grandson wanted pancakes, which I (apparently stupidly) thought they would make. I did Google it before we arrived and Google said WF does make pancakes. Our waitress was unfriendly before I asked for pancakes, after which she treated me like I was a half-wit, taking the menu and pointing to a waffle. Not a great moment. My grandson had a waffle which he enjoyed. I did not get my water and I couldnt tell if my scrambled eggs had cheese. The place was clean but lacked the normal Waffle House atmosphere. Overall, unpleasant also due to the waitress having tte--tte conversations with the manager about my mistake.

I went here last night for my dinner. I usually go to the one on Mercer, but I was closest to this one. I was disappointed because my omelette and hash browns were extremely greasy. Its usually not like that, so I had to drain my food with paper towels before I ate. Also, I ordered my food to-go and they didnt have any plastic silverware to give me. The waitress stated she didnt have access to where the plastic ware was located. I wasnt going home, so I ate with my hands. I would have asked for a refund, but Im 6 1/2 months pregnant and was hungry, so I came to review instead. I hope it gets better here, but Ill stick to the one on Mercer.
