I tried Keenes cafe this morning 6/22/23. Friendly speedy service. My food was hot and everything tasted fresh. Great price for what I received. You gotta go give them a try. The biscuit sandwich is delicious and fluffy

This place is located inside the convenience store where the new Dollar General is, on Thomaston Rd closer to the roundabout. Edited review: went back for biscuits on Saturday around 8:15am. They are big and fluffy. Had the Bubba biscuit, a sausage/egg/cheese, and the bacon/egg/cheese, plus hashbrowns. All tasted fresh. They serve biscuits til 2pm so I'll keep coming back, I just won't bother with a burger again. ***** Came here to pick up lunch for my husband & I on Friday at about 11:30am. Dining area was clean and spacious. I ordered the Nachoritos, Papa's Steak sandwich, and the McQuack. The Nachoritos are okay although the canned jalapeo peppers weren't very hot. Not a lot of queso. The meat was a crumbled hamburger patty, not seasoned ground beef. The Papa's was a chicken-fried steak patty on a bun. Pretty sure the patty was one of those prepackaged frozen ones before it was deep-fried. No condiments or cheese. My husband wasn't impressed. I had the McQuack and it was okay. Small hamburger patty that didn't taste fresh, and I had to chew too long on the bacon, I'm guessing it's also precooked and heated up. On both sandwiches the brioche bun was hot and fluffy. I'm kinda disappointed because I'd heard such good things about this place. Really felt like for $30 these items should have been way better. Maybe I'll come back and try some of their breakfast biscuits.

I had the UFO and man it was good! Highly recommend. Owner is a super friendly person and their online ordering is seamless and reliable. The owner cares just as much about his pickup business as he does his sitting diners. Sausage egg and cheese biscuit was also amazing. You gotta try this place. Dont let the shell station fool ya. Lol
