This has been the worst experience ever. I called Roto Rooter for an emergency toilet Clog. This company preys of emergencies like this, wanting you to sign a contract for one price and then when your insurance company gets involved they almost double the fees. There was some shady practices and invoices that out right lied about services that weren't rendered. The insurance company is refusing to pay the over exaggerated fees and now Roto Rooter is calling and threatening to put a lien on my house because they wanted my insurance to pay extra. This company is out to punish thr homeowners who have emergencies like this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR WATER CLEAN UP. The lies are abundant. Insurance fraud is real when dealing with shady companies like Roto Rooter. It's a plus to have cameras in your home to show how they will lie. Do not trust this company and their work. Demo was crazy as well because they thought they were going to do the repairs as well. Worst experience ever as a homeowner.

DO NOT... AND I MEAN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am currently in a phone war between Roto and my insurance. I am getting threatening phone calls every day from Roto stating that if my insurance does not pay, Roto will put a lien on my home. I pay my insurance every month and I expect my insurance to handle this. However, my insurance is stating that Roto is engaged in unfair business practices where they overcharged the customer when an insurance company is involved. They inflate the invoice knowing that they did not do all of the work that is listed on the invoice or the charges are frivolous. I don't know who to believe and it is very disheartening because I did my part. I saw a leak, mitigated damages by calling what I thought was a reputable company, and filed a claim in a timely manner. That was back in December. I should not have to play mediator for the last 2.5 months between two professional companies to get my home repaired. DO NOT USE THEM because my insurance says they inflate the cost for no reason leaving the customer in a bad situation. I wish I could give Roto 0 stars because this experience has been mortifying!
