        Found out the block had a crack inside the block. I know they don't fix stuff like this . they took everything off to get to it to check for problem. Went to pick up my car . they had parked it almost in the woods next to a truck a good ways from building. Got in it to. Crank my car started making a rattling noise . cut off car checked under hood . to find a part of cover the mechanic didn't put back on just threw under hood. Then i notice i have no power steering. I tell them this. I pulled my car back in they lift the hood pull out my belt to power steering place it in my hand shredded said this is the problem . my problem is why didn't they notice and replace the power steering belt. All they told me . it would be hard to turn when coming to complete stop but so long as ibam moving it would be good. I have never had this kind of problem before. Its like after the found out the block was cracked its like they gave up. When asked about power steering belt being replaced. Its like they didn't won't to be bothered .

        I've gone to LAC for over 15 years, but I think this was my last time. For the first 10, they were great - knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, even if they weren't the cheapest. Over the last 5, they've been not so good. From missing something that nearly ruined a car and stranded my daughter to essentially refusing to do a job, they jist aren't a mechanic I can count on anymore. Though still friendly, they're more expensive than everyone but the dealer, and they're often unable or unwilling to do things. So sad.

        I had a problem with a 2013 Camry not starting. It was primarily my own fault due to installation of the wrong grounded battery. I had it towed to Loganville Auto Center and they began problem diagnostics the next day since I was in no rush to get the car back. The was a time consuming analysis of the electrical system but they found the problem (a fuse block of 8 fuses with 7 of the fuses blown) and corrected the problem. They also made sure the Electronic Control Module on the car had not been affected. Very happy with their work and satisfied with the cost given the amount of manual troubleshooting that was involved. Service: General repairs & maintenance

      Thank you for taking my call this morning. I apologize for any miscommunication. We diagnosed your car with a cracked engine block. This is not repairable. At this point, we informed you that the vehicle is pouring coolant out of the side of the block onto the belts. This is the reason the power steering belt came off. We tried to explain that the car is not in a condition that is drivable. It wasn't advisable to spend more money on a new belt knowing that the coolant leak from the block would only ruin the new belt and it would not be a lasting repair. We hate to give bad news and we always want to be able to present a reasonable solution but in this case, there isn't a good option. We didn't anticipate you picking the car up and driving it off considering the information we gave you. Again, I am sorry for any misunderstanding and we would be glad to be of assistance in your search for reliable transportation.

      Mr. Dale, Thank you for taking my call this morning. I appreciate you giving me a chance to explain that we do not rebuild engines and that Kia and Hyundai have extended the powertrain warranty on alot of their models and they would be the best option for you to repair this car if you decided to do so. I appreciate your feedback from the last 5 years. I looked over the 5 times you have been in from those 5 years and I see we made 2 repairs. The other 3 visits, we inspected your vehicle and gave recommendations but no repairs were approved. We take customer satisfaction very serious and after asking all the staff about your last visit, I am not sure how to better handle the conversation when a car has major internal engine issues and we(along with the vast majority of shops like ours)do not offer a rebuild option. Based on our years of experience, we were confident in knowing the issue with your vehicle before even having to do any diagnostic work and offered our recommendations free of charge. Our service manager, service advisor, and our customer service representative all acknowledged that we explained the problem and explained the reasons we do not offer a solution in house. I am sorry we have let you down and I hope you can find a shop that will meet your needs. We will continue to strive to be the best we can be and we will take your feedback and grow from this experience. Thanks
