I have always been told Warren Holder was a fair man. Don't ever trade a lawn mower with him. We had a Bobcat ZT2000 purchased from Warren Holder in 2021. We had problems with it and was told that Bobcat would not warranty the spindle until it froze up. Warren Holder told us our warranty was almost out at 300 hours. We did not want to wait and the spindle lock up and cause more damage so we paid out of pocket to replace the spindle. Then the next time my husband went in to the store, Warren Holder told him that our warranty was good to 500 hours so we could have waited. However, he could not turn the spindle repair in as a warranty repair since it had not locked up. (We later found out that was not the truth and that Bobcat would have warranty it before it locked up.) Next Warren Holder told my husband that he could give us a good trade-in on a new Bobcat ZT2000. He said, he would give us $2,500 for our lawn mower that had a little over 300 hours on it. We only owed $1,605 on our old lawn mower that gave us $895 equity so you would think! I did not get a chance to review everything until about a month later. The $1,605 was rolled over into the price of the new lawn mower making our purchase price with financing $5050. Warren Holder then sold our used lawn mower for $2,500 so he says. Bottom line, Warren Holder made $1,605 on our old lawn mower. I ask him about it and he said he did not see it that way. He did not make $1605 off of our lawn mower. He said when you trade a car the amount you owe is rolled into the new car loan! That is true if you have negative equity. We owed less than what he was giving us as a trade-in! He could have paid the loan off and still made $895 but he was greedy and I will never do business again with him!
