Last night a technician arrived and told me that I had two options to get into the outside bottom door lock of my home, 1) he could bag it for $250 or 2) drill the lock for $350. I refused both due to the excessive cost and asked what I owed for the service fee. He said he felt bad about leaving and wanted to still try (using the bags). When he couldn't open it after 10 mins or so, he charged me $60 ($20 service fee and $40 labor) for not gaining entry.
I immediately called another locksmith out that successfully gained entry for $85!!
The new locksmith agreed that the KeyMe technician was obviously over charging me ($250/$350) since the average cost for this type service is less than $100 with almost anyone!
I left a message for KeyMe mgmt last night and wast transferred 5 times today before the line was disconnected. Don't do business here. The technicians they use are shady and they don't address complaints!
