My first visit today. Everything was ok except for a super long wait. Appointment was at 9am, so I went in at 8:45am expecting several minutes to check in. I was told there wasn't anyone there to check me in until 30 minutes later, so I went back home and came back 30 minutes later. I was eventually checked in and ushered to the treatment/examination area and was left there for close one hour until someone came in. A Dentist came in but she wasn't the Dentist I made an appointment with, which was find, since she seemed pretty nice. I left with the treatment plan which looked ok. We'll see how my next appointment experience would look like and update my rating.

Very bad experience at this Sage Dental Suwannee-Lawrenceville branch. My tooth and gum are good. No pain and no bleeding. I wanted a routine cleaning. They said that they had to exam first and clean. After X-ray exam, they gave me more than $2000 costly treatment plan before proceeding to routine tooth cleaning. Also, they asked to have tooth guard, which I already have from my previous dentist. I dont understand why they asked to have another tooth guard, although I told them I have one. However, ultimately they denied my routine tooth cleaning without costly treatment plan and mouth guard. I feel very much embarrassed with is group. I suspect their correctness of evaluation and sincerity of service.

I had my RCT done at this place. Before starting the work they asked me to sign the estimates. When I pointed out some irregularities in it, they asked me to sign it for now and that they will correct it later. I did that. After the procedure was done, when I checked back the changes in the bill were not done correctly. I raised that with them, and they said this is what the system asks us to charge you, and we cannot do anything. I requested a few minutes as I wanted to clarify that with the Insurance helpline. Insurance told me that as per the contract with the provider the contract rates are lower and that I should be paying 30% of that contracted price. Neither of that was reflected in the Bill. The contracted price was inflated and patient responsibility was shown much higher than 30% also. I requested the person Sage Dental person at the front desk Casey or someone else from Sage Dental to talk to the insurance provider, but they would not talk, and Casey started to shout at me and ask me to pay right now or else she would call Police. I told them that I have not refused to pay the money, I only wanted to check if I was charged the right amount. But she continued shouting, yes real loud shouting, for continues few minutes as if by questioning and trying to verify the bill & charges, I have committed a big crime. I had kept my cool all along. Never raised my voice once. They would neither talk to Insurance folks, nor talk to the provider of the service, or their headquarters to resolve this. Eventually, I paid what they asked for and left the premise. Never again walking back into that premises.

Office wanted me to fill out all types of paperwork before telling me cost and if my insurance was excepted. RED FLAG !!! I simply explained I dont want to give more info before verifying cost. Ive been scammed to many times in GA especially with dentists. Front desk lady was clearly bothered by me wanting to give her the group # & 1800 # over the phone As if I didnt provide the info when I made the appointment days ago. I just told her to cancel the appt. & hung up. I dont deal with employees attitudes, frustration, rudeness none of it. Just do the job youre paid to do. Theres 100s of other dentists that I can easily go to.

Went in as a new patient Yesterday for no reason. Their prices are CRAZY. They said they couldnt do a regular cleaning because what I needed was a DEEP cleaning that cost 1,300 . Then they dont offer any financial help just their sage dental that took $180 off. The staff was trying to help but even they say the prices are crazy. Never again!!! Waisted my time.
