Ate at Captain's

We actually ate at the restaurant Captain's. Terrible service! They had plenty of tables available but they were all reserved. Couldn't get a seat for 45 minutes and there was nowhere to wait except to stand up and you were in the way. People who came in when we did had not received their food when we left. ( And they had a reservation) We left and ate somewhere else. Don't plan on going back.

My husband and I reserved 2 Nights at rv park. We were supposed to be there Saturday by 3 pm were ran late so my husband called it said they were closed so we left an emergency message asking what we are supposed to do. We got a reply giving us directions to slot #124 when we got there we had a hard time finding it because the number was knocked over. And covered in leaves and dirt. Once we found it we hooked up. It was real close to the trailer next to us. There was also another extension cord plugged into it and we were very close to a septic drain, not close enough to be ours. The next morning we woke up noticed that the park was only 1/3 rd full and there was many other slots we could have had. We didnt have a room to picnic or even set up our grill. We were uncomfortable enough our pets didnt want to eat anything so we packed up and left a day early. When we were driving out we noticed almost all of the sites had septic hook ups and a solid pad to set up on. This was supposed to be my birthday get away I dont know why we were given the worst lot there.

Was very disappointed in the rental of cabin #6 seeing how it was not as it was described in the rental details. Did not have a grill , could not use the tv because there was not a remote. Called the number on the letter and left a message ( never got a call back) texted Jessica who had texted to let me know cabin was ready also asking if the cabin came with a remote ( no response) Word of advice, dont rent on Sunday or Monday because the office is closed and even though you get a nice letter with your key in the arrival box saying to call with any concerns .. you wont get a call back . I use to rent here years ago when the cabins did look quite a nice but the service was always excellent and prices were lower , now its higher prices and no service at all which is very sad to say.
