Today was my 3rd visit to this business. I will never return. My first 2 visits were fine even though their oil change is more expensive than other places. I liked being able to sit 5 minutes in my car while the service was completed. I didn't like the way they always tried to pressure me into paying for additional services such as radiator flush, coolant change, or wiper replacement. I knew I didn't need those things and told them no thank you. Today was different. They pressured me as usual then changed the oil. I tried to leave but my car wouldn't start. I had not experienced difficulty starting my car previously. This was the first time. I asked what was wrong and they said they had only changed the oil and had no idea why my car wouldn't start. They checked the battery and told me it was dead, which made no sense because I'd had no problem before. They said it wasn't their fault and gave my car a charge so I could drive away. I drove to auto zone, where the mechanic tested my battery, showed me the printout indicating my battery was fully functional but I was leaking oil. He told me the people who just changed my oil must have left the cap off. The worst thing was the lying. When they told me I needed a new battery, I believed them and asked to buy it today and have them install it. They said they had to order it but I could drive 1 mile to advance auto parts, buy the battery, and bring it back and they would install it today, even though it was almost closing time. The technician assured me he wouldn't leave if I could get it quickly. I returned 7 minutes later at 6:01 with the battery. Closing time is 6:00. It was 6:01 and the tech had told me at 5:50 that he would stay til I got back with battery. He lied. That was worse than the constant attempts to upsell and the incompetence combined. Don't make promises you have no intention of keeping. Have enough regard for your customers to tell them the truth. This is a bad business. Buyer beware. They lie.

I have gone back and forth with the technician about why or where my car is supposedly leaking oil. I knew she was, but they wouldn't tell me. After hiring a mechanic, I learned that I needed to replace my oil pan and oil pan gasket. The oil pan drain was stripped so badly, and was obviously attempted at a repair, because there is red sealant caked on my pan still. This shop has been the main shop I've gone to since I moved out here 4 years ago, my car wasn't leaking oil until I came to this shop. I've got receipts to prove it. You have me in the system. Yall knew where she was leaking from and didn't bother to tell me. I don't want free services from yall for this inconvenience. I want my money back on what I have had to spend in parts and labor. My car barely has over 110K miles, this work so early on is unacceptable.
