I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Allaire today for a high risk pregnancy complicated with cancer & have nothing but good things to say about him. He was very welcoming & kind, had a smile on his face throughout the entire appointment, answered all of my questions, & put my mind at ease about a lot of concerns I had about my pregnancy. He was also very familiar with my case & knew details about my medical history. I was nervous about seeing him after reading other reviews, but I would very highly recommend him to anyone. He is an excellent doctor & I am grateful to be under his care for the rest of my pregnancy.

Dr. Allaire deserve more 5-star reviews. I went to see him twice during my second pregnancy and he's very cut and dry, and as a doctor that's exactly what he should be. He is very honest and knowledgeable, and he always spend time to answer all my questions. The second time I was there, he just walked in and said "Everything looks fine, do you have any questions?" He doesn't do small talks, and all his answers are right to the point. Once all my questions are answered, he'll leave for another patient, because his schedule is very full. I understand most moms-to-be are referred to see him due to certain concerns regarding the pregnancy, and some may be frustrated about the lack of emotion he presented during the appointment, but just remember that he's not a consoler or a doula, he's not here to provide emotional support, he's just here to present facts and lay everything out as is. So if you were expecting a doctor to cry with you or give you a hug, he's definitely not the kind. For me to take my emotional part out of the appointment is better, because I was just there to get facts about the baby and get the medical help, and Dr. Allaire is the perfect person to talk to. P.S. Bring your own USB drive for the 3D ultrasound for your baby, they charge $10 for a new USB drive, if you want a electronic copy of the ultrasound. His office's 3D ultrasound is so much better than my OBGYN's office.

Terrible bedside manner. While the office and technicians are great and Allaire is smart, he has no problem telling you bad news while seeming very nonchalant about it. Challenge him and ask questions. He wont like it, but you have to be your own advocate because you know yourself best. He also seemed to forget simple facts of medical history despite it being on the chart and reminded by us several times. So that tells you how much he pays attention and focuses on each patient. Forgetting certain facts, he seemed to want to send us to the hospital way too early, and we pressed him until the right time. He also tried to send us to the hospital after the office got us mixed up with another patient. Saved ourselves 2 months of sitting in the hospital for no reason. Unfortunately he was our only choice or we would have changed doctors.
