Lucio, Nick, and Rey were very helpful with our front yard conversion project from an undesirable overgrown garden bed to a very inviting and restful river rock patio area. Nick came over multiple times to measure and advise us on our best options for our budget, and also gave us insight into which plants would work the best for our patio idea and the amount of time or energy we'd want to commit to for the upkeep of the plants selected. As far as plants are concerned, we went with: -climbing rose for our front porch iron column -planted 6 gardenias between two different beds -planted 7 encore azaleas in front of our beloved elephant ears -a camellia on each side of the elephant ears to provide a visual in the elephant ears' winter die-off -10 boxwoods that will provide privacy for the river rock patio when they grow to full size on the opposite side of our walkway -3 holly plants at the curbside of our driveway in a small river rock bed that visually connects the entry of the property with the front steps & patio area -for the elephant ear / gardenia / encore azalea / camellia garden bed, it was topped off with red mulch as a finish for the entire front yard project. Thanks to Earthworks Landscaping LLC's commitment to support us in both our budget goals and landscaping goals, we were able to make the necessary compromises and still meet our hoped-for outcome within the time frame we had desired all along. I called for an estimate for a French drain, didn't hear from him but a few days later he showed up without calling first. I was with another company getting an estimate, he sat for several minutes and left. I called him a few days later and he just told me a French drain wouldn't work, put sand down instead. That was the end of that.
