Two months ago Dr. Fisher walked into the exam room and told me I had cancer. Needless to say the news was hard to hear but in the moment I held in my emotions as he clearly and concisely explained my situation and the plan he laid out to treat my condition. Over the following 2 months I met with Dr Fisher several times, doing additional tests to determine and further discuss my treatment. At all times he clear and concise on the plan and when I would break down from the emotions of the situation he would sit back and give me time to settle back down. I cannot imagine working through this situation with a Dr. the would exude more confidence and support than Dr, Fisher. The bonus is that every single person I have dealt with at Georgia Urology and the Hospital where my surgery took place displayed the very best in professionalism, compassion and helpfulness that could ever be expected. This is not 2 or 3 people I dealt with but closer to 30. I could not recommend Dr. Fisher and his team enough, they are truly my heroes.

I will start off that I went to Georgia Urology when I was 48 after an insurance exam indicated elevated PSA. That was the start of my journey with my prostate. I am now 66. I retired my first 2 doctors. Doctors Nyhoff and Goldberg. My third Doctor was Dr. Fisher. Now my first 2 doctors were great but my third, Dr. Fisher is fantastic! Dr. Fisher, works out of both the Lawrenceville and Braselton offices. I like both facilities because the nurses, who you get to know well, rotate to both facilities also. One thing that I really liked was when Dr Fisher took over my case, he said lets start fresh. My PSA was like a rollercoaster, had one biopsy when it sky rocketed one time and no cancer was there but since I had been going there so long, Dr Fisher wanted to get a clean fresh marker to go from. I liked that. Having the usual tests, flow test, cystoscope and MRI, with and without contrast. All these thing indicated no cancer, but, a rather large prostate. By this time in my journey I was having all the issues with large prostate. Dr Fisher said "I have 6 ways to fix this", but I recommend a procedure called Aquablation. Best decision of my life. Dr Fisher, whom I admire greatly because his manner, attitude, disposition, knowledge and downright caring made the decision for aquablation simple. Had the surgery 1/25/24 at Northeast Ga Med Ctr. A really great hospital with great staff. I am now 2 months post surgery and am doing great. Dr Fisher is truly a great doctor, surgeon and a very caring person. I would recommend Dr Fisher highly to everyone.
