My mom used George Cardon for her taxes for several years. Imagine my surprise to find a charge of $435 for her tax return that only involved her Social Security income. That and the standard deduction were the only two salient numbers. I find that incomprehensible that an 87+ widow was charged that much. I further find it negligent that they didn't tell her that the IRS does not require older folks with only social security earnings to file taxes. Sounds like they only want your money.

I've been using this company for over twenty years. They're professional, good to deal with, communicate well, and let me know if there's a problem. They have also suggested some tax advantages I didn't know about. I highly recommend them, but remember, you have to provide them with correct information - they do not "know" if your numbers are correct, only you know that.

We have used Ahart and Cardon for three years now and have enjoyed working with them each year. George and his staff are always great. We have specifically worked with Julie the most, and she always ensures to look at each little detail while also getting everything back in a timely manner. They certainly do their work well!
