Milex Complete Auto Care - Mr. Transmission

I'd recommend going somewhere else. I wanted try them because they were the closest to me despite reading the reviews about them trying to be greedy instead of just doing what's actually needed. I called trying to get my transmission fluid flushed and filter changes because it's recommended to do it every 30,000 miles and it has 135, 000 miles without being done but they had other plans .. before i called these guys I went to a shop got the fluids flushed.. the fluids were black and they had to do it twice in order to clean it that shows how incredibly dirty it is but what I didn't know was that they don't do filter changes so that really didn't help ..now I got codes that only talk about the pressure control solenoid is having issues. A pressure control solenoid helps regulates the flow of transmission fluid and it needs the filter to be clear in order to do it's job ..heck one code actually says that the filter is clogged so I know it needed to be handled but when I called this place they talked to me in a condescending way saying that transmission filter can't cause issues with the transmission even its a fact that it can...Even if you don't think it can effect the transmission humor me ..beside its has to get done regardless. But instead of them getting 300 for something I needed done anyway ,they rather get nothing trying to get thousands out of me

Mr. Transmission takes time with the car, but they do a good job.

I gave one star because I couldn't give a negative. I had my jeep towed there because of a bad clutch. the pedal went all the way to the floor. after a few days Ray calls me and tells me that the transmission has to be dropped because the slave cylinder is inside the transmission.... I will let that sink in. the slave cylinder on jeeps are on the outside attached to the transmission on the drivers side. I questioned that and even had a mechanic call them to which they confirmed that they looked and the slave cylinder is on the inside of the transmission and it will cost 900 to drop the transmission. I confirmed with Jeep dealers and many other mechanics and even looked for myself and saw the master cylinder. I picked up my jeep and brought it home. I called MR Transmission corporate to complain and was met with the same justification. well I bout the slave cylinder for 81 and me and a friend changed it and confirmed the old cylinder was leaking fluid. after bleeding the system, the jeep runs PERFECT. so it was clear that they did not look at the jeep or if they did they did not know what the slave cylinder looks like. all in all with parts and paying my friend to help, it took less than an hour and cost under 150.00 save your money these people will rip you off.
