In 2021 I moved to Georgia for a position at a new warehouse that was being built. Being new to the area is what prompted me to find a new dentist, which was Bellair Dental in Evans, Ga I made an initial appointment for a cleaning And was advised of some dental work that needed to be done, as far as fillings and I wanted to talk about a partial. We discussed the plan and my out-of-pocket expense was going to be $1400. Over the course of approximately three months, I paid the estimate for the fillings and the partial. Which would have left me with a zero balance Bellair Dental called me after about three months that my partial had came in I went in to be fitted, but then was told I owed and additional $1400 because the insurance did not pay what they thought they would. I was in told that the previous 1400 was only an estimate and not an exact number. I asked the lady that handles how could they have been off by 50 percent? she replied to me The office is out of network.The insurance didnt pay as much. Upon asking Did they not know that they were out of network when the quote was given, I also asked if they contacted my insurance company to find out how much would they pay on the bill? I was given no response! Today I received a call from a collection agency that now Bell Air dental is trying to collect $1400 from me After I have paid them what they told me I owed it was paid to a zero balance and now they have a partial and want 1400 extra dollars. Bellair Dental, I will see you in court, This is predatory, and I pray that no one else has to go through an ordeal such as this!
