Got me a new heater and some heat going!!!!!

I still DO NOT understand why we had the issues we had. We moved to our residence just over a year ago. Our land lord contacted partners to correct an issue with our gas stove we discovered upon moving in. Partners corrected the issue and offered for us to apply for credit and be on their regular routes. We saw no issue with it as they’d responded promptly to fix our stove and acted professional. So we submitted paper work for a credit check and were approved. We were informed we’d get a service during the warmer months due to the stove and then starting the cold season we’d be on a monthly route. First issue is they for some reason made two accounts in my name ,and another in my husbands name. It wasn’t a huge issue ,but when they’d bill the one in just my name we had no account set up and couldn’t just pay online. That was mainly just inconvienant ,but we did speak to them several times to correct that and it never was. This wasn’t the major issue. During the summer ,though they had two sets of paper work showing we require gas for our stove, we receive no service. Not as big of a deal since we obviously barely used the gas ,but it should’ve been a red flag at this point. Fast forward to nearly thanksgiving and we’re very low on propane at this point since they hadn’t filed the tank again. So we call and they acted like we were bothering them ,but eventually came to top off the tank. After that tank top off we went low again rather rapidly. We call again. It had been a cold snap but shouldn’t have dropped so low so fast. My husband asks can they come out and check for leaks ,they say they will, but never do. December we’re approaching Christmas and the tank is at 20%. So before the holidays I call again (though again we were told the route would be monthly and no one had shown up again) and informed them how low the tank is. I’m informed “they’ll be by this week.” This is fine. Until I receive a call back from the receptionist because one of the drivers would like to speak with me. I didn’t get the man’s name ,but he informed me that even at below 20% it’s “not worth their gas to drive out here” and my husband had said we’re filling up the tank too much. 1.) not what my husband said 2.) he called because we again had a bill done in just my name not the one our credit is established in and also had used gas rather rapidly and wanted a check for leaks. I corrected him on that but he still maintains it’s “not worth his gas” and hangs up on me.... We finally get a fill up December 21st. Again we’re having a cold snap and it’s the 29th of January ,over a month since last fill up, and again had been told we were on a monthly route. We’re near 10% on our tank so I call because the temp that night is in the high 20s. The receptionist asks me what size tank we have and use it for. I AGAIN (though it’s on two sets of paper work they got from us) inform them we use propane to cook and heat our home. I’m asked size of my tank (though it’s on our paper work as well and I’ve told them each time I’ve had to call) and I’m told “you need to buy a larger tank”. No I do not because for starters I rent and my land lord has deemed a 100 gallon tank sufficient for our house hold. I’m informed “you should convince him to buy a bigger tank.” No our tank saw us through last winter and a summer of cooking! It’s just been colder. Also it doesn’t matter my tank size were on a MONTHLY ROUTE and it’s sufficient for the service we were promised. I’m then told “maybe you should just call drivers from now on” I almost didn’t know what to say! All I could say was “really?” And told “well they’re closer” Firstly, you obviously service our area. Secondly you’re only just under half a mile further than drivers is. I just was astonished I was told to call a competing propane company..... we’ve been on an established account for a year that required a credit check. Every fill up the bill was paid promptly! I don’t know the issue! But we took the advice we called drivers!
