Hello Monique, Every month we receive hundreds of requests for assistance. If you submitted your application, you can go back to your application and there is a status update. It will state "approved", "denied", or "waitlist." We simply do not have enough staff to respond to the hundreds of emails and phone calls we receive. Additionally, we do not have enough funding to assist everyone. In the first quarter of 2023 we received requests for assistance for over $800,000 and on any given month we generally have about $15,000 to assist. We have served dozens of households since the start of this year and over 16,000 since the inception of the organization. We understand your concerns and we try to serve as many as we can, and we try to make the process as user friendly and fair as possible but, unfortunately every month over a hundred households will be denied. It is our hope that if you find yourself in need in the future you will try again. It is our commitment to help our neighbors in need, but we ask that you understand we are simply not able to assist everyone.
