I used Vacations Abroad to find my hotel in the surroundings of Siena during Palio time. Linda found for me a beautiful accommodation in a medieval castle in the Chianti area, just about 20 minutes driving from the city center. Had a very pleasant experience :)

If you're looking for an authentic travel experience booking a property with Vacations Abroad is a great idea! They have a huge worldwide database of beautiful rental properties from around the world. I used them twice in British Columbia and had a fantastic experience. There are great photos on the website, all the rates and info you'd want to know and an availability calendar. They are very responsive when you make a booking or if you have questions. I used Vacations Abroad to find and book West Coast Wilderness Lodge in BC and it was a wonderful nature experience with stunning views of the bay, many outdoor activities and hiking trails! We enjoyed kayaking, a scenic flight and their restaurant was superb. I also used Vacations Abroad to book a stay in Whistler, BC at quaint bed&breakfast called the Inn at Clifftop Lane. It was great! I highly recommend booking accommodation on your next trip with Vacations Abroad
