I am in the business 27 years. I've been around and seen a lot of brokerages/agents/managers. I must tell all of you about Tara Versluis and Coldwell Banker Johns Creek. Every day everyone has a smile..a great atmosphere to work..its like a family. I never had that anywhere else. Agents help each other...there is no back stabbing (which is unusual in the business) Tara keeps everyone motivated, dedicated and helps whenever it is needed. The marketing is amazing and whatever you need from Tara she is there to help you achieve your goals....I am truly blessed to be with such a professional group of people.

I was a new agent that decided to join the Coldwell Banker team. After completing my exam, I sat down with Beth Pounds, an amazing broker who is no longer with the company. During my very first transaction, Beth took the time to properly assist me and to make sure that I was doing things precisely and according to law. Within the same transaction, Beth pounds was replaced with Tara Versluis. We did not have much time together, and the time that she was able to spend helping me, she spent ridiculing my efforts. She was extremely discourteous and unpleasant. She was discontent with some of Beth's approaches to the transaction, which was a factor that played in to the demise of this contract. Not only did I not have any assistance with the contract, but the investor on the home I was attempting to purchase was hard to get a hold of. Had we closed on the property, the agent would have not been present at the closing because he was out of town. There was alot going on with this being my first transaction. However, luckily this was going to be for the purchase of my primary residence. So no one else had to experience the havoc of this transaction. I also saw this as a learning opportunity before engaging in any other affairs with clients. My license soon lapsed due to post CE that needed to be completed. About a year and some change later, I completed my post CE and was ready to renew. Not only was I denied from renewing with the broker, Tara Versluis also took the liberty of reaching out to Brett Duffy of the Dunwoody office to fill him in on the first transaction from a year ago. Tara Versluis stated to me that the firs transaction was all over the place and that they were trying to weed out the agents that were not doing anything. She has never offered me any help or insight. I can only assume that after speaking with Brett Duffy, Tara called to play mediator without my knowledge; allowing him to create an image of me as an incompetent realtor who has no knowledge, or isn't serious about working in this profession. I have also called Tara Versluis numerous times, and unfortunately she is unable to return calls most of the time. THIS BROKER DOES NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST AND DOES NOT HAVE THE PATIENCE NOR TIME TO WORK WITH NEWER AGENTS!!!

We drove 260 miles to spend the day with Aleem Rashid, one of their agents, to find a house. I had spent countless hours developing a list of houses and was counting on his input as well as his knowledge of the area. After confirming with me the day before, he never showed up, never responded to emails, texts or phone calls. We ended up having to do our house search blind and it was extremely stressful. The agent's office never made an effort to make things right. My advice? Avoid these folks - there are trustworthy real estate agencies and agents in the area who deserve your business.
