If you're a woman & need "Pelvic Floor" or "womans care" I highly recommend this location & seeing Remya or/and Pushpa. I've been here for OT after carpal tunnel surgery and most recently PT for pelvic floor, which I didn't know exactly what it was & detailed etc. I absolutely love the physical therapists at this location. They're very knowledgeable therapists whom make you feel comfortable, and listen, not to mention teach you how to manage symptoms on a daily basis and they do not criticize. I'll admit I was very nervous & really didn't understand how certain things (diet, certain exercises, etc) could help with "woman's issues". I'll admit that it's a regimen that you must stay on. I went almost 2wks around my husband having surgery where I didn't do everything I should have & it was almost like starting all over. Lesson learned. Don't hesitate in scheduling if this is what you need, or any other PT related issues because these ladies do more than just what I've been seen for. As for Occupational Therapy (OT) for hand therapy, I've seen both Retha & Kim and again, they're wonderful & listen to what's been going on, what helps or doesn't etc. I had OT sessions before surgery & about 2-3 months after surgery on one hand for carpal tunnel release. I still have some issues with it & scar tissue but these issues have nothing to do with them and seems to be a constant issue I have after almost every surgical procedure & I've had way too many in the last 15yrs - mostly lumbar/Spine area. #LetsGuide #health #womanscare #pelvicFloor #prolapse #physicaltherapy #physicalTherapyForWomen #dryNeedling #needling #handtherapy #kneetherapy #spinalFusion #lumbartherapy #backsurgery #surgicalAfterCare #outpatientRehabilitation #DuluthArea #GwinnettCounty #Emory #Select
