Kruti Dance Academy

I completed my Arangetram with Kruti this March 2024 and it was a wonderful accomplishment. Dina auntie was incredibly supportive throughout my journey when I started dancing with the academy in 2013. Each year brought its own challenges and rewards as I continued to make my way towards an Arangetram. Being the first adult graduate of the academy, I feel proud and grateful for such an amazing experience. Thank you to family, friends, and Kruti for making this possible.

Kruti Dance performed at my fashion show fundraiser. The dancers were professional and the performance was amazing! Dina and Shemoni showed their leadership and support. It was an overall positive experience that I would recommend to anyone who needs a dance performance at their event. 10/10!

Kruti truly holds a special place in my heart, as it has been a significant part of my life for the past 10 years. What began as short 1-hour classes every Saturday has blossomed into a profound journey that has shaped my character and fueled my passion for Bharatanatyam. As the years went by, my love for Kruti grew stronger, and during the recital season, I found myself practically living at the academy every weekend. Kruti has become my second home, a place where I can fully immerse myself in the world of dance. The people I have met at Kruti, both fellow dancers and teachers, have become an invaluable support system, inspiring me to push my limits and strive for excellence. I cannot express how thankful I am to Dina Aunty and Shemoni Didi. Their unwavering belief in my abilities and their teachings imparted technical knowledge but also instilled in me important life skills that extend far beyond the teachings of dance. Through their guidance, I have learned the essence of leadership, the importance of shouldering responsibility, and the value of hard work. Interestingly, it was during the pandemic that my interest in Bharatanatyam truly sparked. I started to dedicate hours to practice and refining my technique. The virtual classes and remote interactions provided by Kruti during this time were a lifeline, connecting me with fellow dancers and ensuring that my passion continued to grow And now, as my Arangetram, approaches this summer, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I cannot express in words how much I appreciate everything I have learned at Kruti and the memories I have made along the way. The journey is far from over, and I am excited for the adventures that lie ahead.
