It was nice to go to a Drs office and not have to wait an hour beyond your appointment time. Philip Boatwright PA and his support staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Front desk receptionist was great! However, once we went into the waiting room, things didn't go so well. There were two other individuals waiting to be seen and were eventually called to the back to see the doctor, which was no biggie because they were there before us. At this point we've been in the waiting room for about 45min. A couple comes into the waiting room and sir as well. 20 minutes into their waiting, the nurse comes out and ask them to follow her to the back, then turns and looks at us and says, "hand me your papers, so I can enter you all in the system". I handed her our paperwork but I gave her a blank look because I didn't understand why that couple was being seen before us! I just handed her the papers and kept my cool. Another 45min goes by and we are still in the waiting room and no one has come to check on us or call us to be seen, so we finally go out to the front desk and I ask that the appointment be cancelled and my copay be refunded. The receptionist couldn't believe that we hadn't been seen and proceeded to apologize to me and went to find out what was taking so long. She came back with her office manager who also apologized and stated that the doctor would see us now but had an emergency come up and that's why it was taking so long. I kindly declined and I told them I understood. Then, as we were waiting for the receptionist to refund my copay the same nurse who took the couple back before us approached me and apologized as well and wanted to take us back to be seen. I politely declined the offer again and told them that the wait with no communication or explanation was just unacceptable. She then asked where would we go now and I told her Dr. Gay's office. We were able to be seen by Dr. Gay's office today and seen in a timely manner.
