Cindy and Sharon went above and beyond finding us our Douglasville home! They listened to our need and found us the perfect home at a great price! Thank you both for your professionalism!

If you are a seller with no scruples or morals, Cindy Camargo is the agent for your. If you are a buyer and the house you are interested in is listed by her, do yourself a favor and keep looking; it is simply not worth the problems and, in our case, lost money. We have just moved into a house which Mrs. Camargo listed and, believe me, I could fill a book the size of the dictionary with all of the issues that occured throughout the process; and continue now. As best I can tell, the seller has a serious anger management problem and Cindy was scared to keep him in line and within the parameters of the contract. I won't go into all of the details here but I will say that I am filing a complaint with the Georgia Real Estate Commission over several issues through this process. Our main issue is the fact that a portion of the contract was, in my opinion, illegally altered without our prior knowledge or consent. The opinion of legality is held by numerous other people, including lawyers and other realtors with whom I have consulted. The seller and agent signed the addendum to push back the closing date 3.5 hours before we were informed that the change had been made "unilaterally" and that our agreement was not needed. This happened just under 48 hours from the originally scheduled closing. The change forced us into a corner and we were not afforded the time needed, and contractually agreed upon, to ensure that the house was in order and all contractual agreements were met by the seller. Although we pushed back and didn't allow the full eight day extension, the original closing date was impossible to maintain due to the ridiculously short notification provided and it still ended up delayed by five days. Instead of the walk-through happening after the buyer had vacated and cleaned the house, it had to happen while he was still packing. In fact, he was still packing during the closing and didn't have the final storage unit picked up until hours after we closed and were moving in, making our process more difficult. There is simply no way to do a walk-through appropriately if the moving and cleaning process has not already been completed. We ended up moving into a house that was filthy and which was not professionally cleaned as had been agreed to in the contract. The seller also did not complete the vast majority of the agreed upon repairs. If the situation had been discussed with enough time to allow us to make living arrangements, we would have gladly allowed the time requested. All we wanted was a seat at the table to discuss our needs and, perhaps, be allowed some monetary considerations for the unplanned extended time and expenditures. Several people involved in the process stated that it had been difficult to get information, calls returned, emails returned, etc from Mrs. Camargo and the seller. Again, this unresponsiveness made things that much more difficult on us by limiting the time we had to make decisions and reply within the deadlines. If there were personal issues that might have caused delay, it's my understanding that Mrs. Camargo has a business partner. Perhaps she could have helped. Before Mrs. Camargo responds and tries to make me look bad, yes, I did call her. Yes, I was angry. I'm not even going to blame her for giving me attitude, screaming at me, or cussing at me; we both gave what was given. However, to lie to my realtor and say that I came to her house and that I told her my realtor suggested I do it is beyond the pale. I did try to visit her office in the hopes of having a face-to-face discussion. Strangely, the Carrollton address listed on one of the pictures associated with her business only leads to an old beat-down trailer at the front of a field in Carroll County near Whitesburgh. If she has her home address listed as her office, I would advise against it. I was not looking to go to her house, if that is what it was. When I saw it was a residence, hers or not, I left and made the phone call.
