I bought a home with an unfinished basement. Not the neatly stubbed out kind that only needed flooring and Sheetrockoh no no. Imagine a cross between early 70s design and a scary movieit was not pretty. Alex and team came in and totally revamped my basement into a game room, complete with 3 bedrooms, a full bathroom, a living room and storage space!
Alex is professional and honest. There were times when he could have just given me an answer that would cause me to pay more, but he was very upfront and tried to get me cost savings where possible. I love how Alex was able to take my big ideas and turn them into reality!

Absolutely pleased with the work and artistry put into our tub tiling and wall reconstruction. We had a bathtub that was leaking and hired Alex and his crew at Johnson Construction Group to come in after the new tub was installed to "make it pretty" and useable again. They installed tile and grout, new tub valve and faucet, fixed the drywall around the tub and
put on new trim and paint at lightning speed. We will absolutely use them for future projects, I couldn't be happier! Services: Drywall installation, Drywall repair, Tile work replacement, General construction, Plumbing fixture installation, Paint indoors

We wanted to extend the roof to cover part of the dog run and we also had a lot of trees right next to where we wanted it. Several of the trees were really big and leaning towards the garage. Alex and his helper, Josh, came out and carefully cut down the trees to make sure they didn't fall on anything. Then they extended the roof in a way that made it stronger than the roof they were attaching to. It was exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be happier with the work they did! Alex helped our dream of finishing our basement (aka man cave) and made it a reality. He collaborated with us in designing the layout we wanted and offered helpful/creative solutions that allowed us to make the most of our unused space. Alex was able to finish our basement starting from scratch by giving us an open concept layout with a full bath. This was truly a custom built basement, including a custom live edge bar top that included a built-in wine fridge, ice maker, and beer fridge in the wall. He also suggested using unused space we had in the corner to create a storage closet with custom made shelving surrounding my gun safe. This idea was such a game-changer for us as it would have been completely wasted space otherwise. If it wasnt for Alexs excellent craftsmanship or creative input we wouldnt have used the space to its full capacity. Another huge perk of hiring Alex to finish our basement is that he truly did it all - from electricity, plumbing, to carpentry!!! Alexs work is phenomenal!!!! I highly recommend hiring Johnson Construction for your next project!!!!!!
