Hampton Inn Douglas

Very nice quiet and clean room. Manager was very happy and pleasant to talk to. Breakfast room was clean and the breakfast selection was awesome. It was nice to be able to relax and have a good nights rest. Its always better to stay in a hotel where the room door is on the inside. Dog and Cat friendly too! Rooms: Large and comfortable. King bed , loveseat for reading area, table for dining, streamline counter with TV on top and little fridge with storage space. Beautiful colors too! Safety: Lots of lighting in the building and outside the building. The room door was sturdy and extra wide latch. Walkability: Walmart just to the east of the site with in walking distance. Wendy restaurant a little farther away but again an easy walk. Noteworthy details: Immediately upon entering the building I felt welcome, everything was calm and peaceful and very clean.

The new rooms being renovated are very nice. In town rite next to super8. Rooms: Clean and neat. Friendly staff Walkability: Grocery store gas station Food & drinks: Super 8

Before you get to this hotel the first thing to look out for is the MASSIVE potholes at the entrance, almost big enough to swallow a compact car, and nearly unavoidable. I'm on a long stay with this hotel currently (~20 days) and I've been there for over a week now. The soap dispensers haven't been refilled yet and are more or less empty. The rooms themselves are not bad, even though they are a little on the small side. The free breakfast can be a little hit or miss. Some of what they serve is pretty good, some of it is not so good. They have a pool, but it's kind of small. They share a lot with a Mexican restaurant called 1800, and Walmart is right on the side, so that's convenient.
