Decatur Presbyterian Church

I believe that churches are best known by the ministries they offer. Decatur Presbyterian offers a ministry called Threshold that offers assistance to help people who are either homeless and/or struggling to keep from becoming homeless. I received assistance from Threshold for the first time last week and was greeted-on a very cold and rainy morning with coffee and breakfast from McDonald's. Everyone was very warm, friendly and patient. I needed help with my phone bill and Leslie gave me a phone card. Now I can start taking care of my business. They provided me with a list of services that provide assistance in the area. Threshold is helping me get back on track. This is truly a Christian organization. Thank you for your support!

I had to do a update.I never got help with transportation concerning assistance from Threshold.I have been calling, because I can't make appointment because I work Tuesday and Thursday.I hope they have more than one way to help you out.I stood outside for a few hours and I never got any help.Dont give grants to people who don't help out.
