I worked with Mr. Berk through my marriage separation, and again through my somewhat complicated divorce. Due to my good results, I then needed to work again with Mr. Berk after 10 years passed when the same ex wife wanted to sue me to get some property I had. Again, my results were positive. Mr Berk was recommended to me by another attorneys office for my divorce case. He answers emails FAST and he answers them himself which is amazing. I dont think Ive ever met a more responsive attorney! I am impressed!! His fee was very reasonable and he dealt with my spouse for the entirety of the case which is exactly what I wanted. My spouse and I dont talk anymore. He made this process easy and during the phone consultation I could tell he had my best interest in mind. He asked a lot of questions to cover all ground and every possibility. Its obvious that he knows what hes doing from the questions hes asking and how quickly he gets the paperwork ready.

After six months of waiting, I did not receive any information about the temporary hearing that attorney Berk was supposed to help me navigate. This hearing is crucial in setting the tone for the case, and Berk was unsuccessful. If you're looking for a divorce attorney, I would strongly advise you to avoid this one. Firstly, his lack of communication and tendency to procrastinate are red flags. Secondly, significant amount of my funds were spent on the attorney simply forwarding emails to opposing counsel. Ended up negotiating the terms of the settlement agreement myself to avoid years of litigation. Overall, it's important to work with an attorney who is organized, communicative, and efficient, and this attorney fell short in all of these areas.

Mr.Stephen J Berk is an intelligent man who knows what he is doing .He is a man of his word and very trustworthy . Mr.Berk is such a pleasure to work with. My case was extremely difficult, None the less Mr.Berk fault hard. He won my case and got me everything I deserve. I highly recommend this firm.
