Old and outdated. You can't take a hotel like a Red Roof inn and slap Hampton signs on it with Hampton price. Furniture looked like it was from the 90s. There was food still in the fridge. Black mold growing in the ceiling above the shower. Pay the same price and go to the Holiday Inn or comfort suites at this exit.

Ive stayed in hundreds of Hampton Inns. This was the worst Ive ever seen. Frankly Im a little shocked that Hilton allows this facility to have their name on it. For starters, the bed was awful, I couldnt find a spot where the bed springs werent poking me and it had obvious holes in the support. I think Motel 6 would be embarrassed about this place. The room was far from clean. The corners we full of dust. The bathroom ceiling had black mold on it. To top it all off, there was a bloody booger on the bathroom wall between the shower and toilet. The tv had a loose wire and kept cutting in and out. The refrigerator was so loud it drowned out the traffic noise (which was substantial

I specifically chose Hampton Inn in Dalton because of my long history of being delighted with the Hampton Inn chain. I don't understand how this location is allowed to use the Hampton Inn name and logo. This was one of the worst hotels I've been in, ever. And to add insult to injury, they charge full Hampton Inn prices. It looks like it was a Super 8 or Motel 6 that hung up some Hampton Inn signage. I should have figured it out when I walked into the lobby and smelled a foul odor. Just like the lobby, the room was stinky. There was a wet towel hanging from the back of the door. The beds were NOT queens- they were double beds, barely big enough for me and my wife. The beds themselves were like trampolines - any movement by one of us would result in almost being flung off of the bed. To be honest, I'm not sure the sheets were clean because there was hair in the sheets. The bathroom was disgusting, with filth caked into the corners of grout and tile. The bathroom door was stained and felt like it was covered in chalk or some other powdery substance. The furniture was old and worn out. The chair was stained and nasty. Do not stay here. It's gross.

We stayed at Hampton Inn on our way to Florida and was impressed with the service and room plus breakfast, on the way home we decided to stay at the one in Dalton, Ga thinking it would meet our standards but was very dissatisfied with service, room and breakfast, for one night at $177.00 it should have met the standards, internet service did not work and even the gentleman at desk could not get his to connect, needed more washcloths and had none, rooms did not look clean and so out dated! Breakfast was not completely ready at time stated and food was cold. The layout of the food needs to be more organized as well. We work hard for our money to go on vacation and this stay was not worth the money we paid!!!! Rooms: The door handle was real loose and felt unsafe, room did not smell clean and looked outdated and would not walk on carpet or floor, unclean. phone needs to be cleaned, before using in room. Safety: Did not like the outside entrance with the basketball court right in front of our door and the door handle was so loose it felt very unsafe. Food & drinks: Vending machine did not work! Breakfast was unorganized and not ready for the early birds as noted, food did not have warmers on, so eggs and sausage was cold. Noteworthy details: For the price for one night, I would spend my money at a nicer hotel. Hampton Inn always had a high recommendation, the first one we stayed rated great, this one was very disappointing!!!! Wish I had not made reservations ahead, I would have went elsewhere, felt like we wasted our $177.00
