Macland Township - Homes for Lease

I came to do a tour of these homes. I was a few mins early for my appointment at 12pm on 1/6/24. The sign on door said will be back soon. Waited a few mins after 12pm and still no one showed. Glad I had another appointment for a self guided tour elsewhere. Nevermind now , I liked the other place better.

They are very very very unprofessional and they owe me money anytime Ive tried to call no one answers or even try to return my call they have two deposits of mines that they said they was going to send and still havent received do not ever try and apply pls dont you will be upset and disappointed Im still waiting to receive my money and also to speak with someone this is sad I have a family and bills as well I need my money NOW

So Ive lived in Macland Township for almost two years and will be leaving in December, thank god. I originally moved in when the former management company, Resibuilt, was over the community but after RangeWater took over prices shot up, the community became complete garbage and the leasing reps are practically nonexistent. This community has gone down the drain severely. Theres an eviction or two almost every week, trash lines the streets, the landscaping company that you pay $75 a month for comes maybe ONCE a month, there are always new faces in the office (when they are actually present) due to extremely high turnover, the pool area is always trashed and way too small for the community, there was an actual SHOOTING in the neighborhood this summer, and maintenance takes extremely long to come out. Its no wonder that there are SO MANY vacant houses in the neighborhood because living here is just not worth it. Sydnee Clarke, the community director, makes everything a million times more complicated than it needs to be. In addition, shes also never available because shes running ten other communities. For example, one would think that if a person doesnt give notice of a lease renewal that it would be assumed that said tenant wasnt renewing and needed to vacate the premises at the end of the signed lease contract date. If you lease here, they will automatically assume youre renewing because they need the money! Yay! And then you will be charged as such! This management company does everything backwards and you would think with the prices they are charging, itd be the crme de La crme of living communities. Horrible paint jobs, cheap and quickly installed fixtures result in almost everything being broken, no sort of extermination services offered. Listen just do not lease here, look elsewhere, your mental health will be so much happier that you did. If I could give -5 stars I would.

Wish I could give them ZERO stars. Very unprofessional, all they do is pass the buck and hide behind computers when there is an issue. The manager is NO help. He acts like a big bully and brushes things off because he doesnt have to deal with it, the other people try their best but the people who have taken over since Resi Homes which is now Range are beyond unprofessional. I would stay clear from them. I have so many friends that live here and because of the unprofessionalism and not communicating none are renewing. So if you want to be judged for the color of your skin and looked down upon when you have an issue to address and ignored as a tenant when THEY are in the wrong this is the place for you!
