They are the best in town. I moved to Dahlonega and I was struggling trying to find someone trustworthy. Craig and his wife are two gems. They will welcome you with a smile and happiness and will make as much as they can to help you out with your car. I had an issue with the fan and the coolant tank. He did the job in one day. Very quick and efficient, too! Thanks guys, I'll see you soon.

On Wed., 18 Oct. '23, my girlfriend, Renee, and our dog, Blaze, and I were finishing up a 5 day hiking and sightseeing trip to East Tennessee and North Georgia when the rear end went out on my 2009 police package Tahoe while we were pulling my micro camper down from Neels Gap on the Appalachian Trail. While descending the switchbacks, the metal on metal grinding and clanking became much more pronounced. We were blessed to creep into the driveway of Welcome Worship Center, on US-19 north of Dahlonega, at approximately 7PM. I was scheduled to be at work in North Florida as a police lieutenant at 8AM the following morning... There was a church gathering up the hill from the main sanctuary, and church member Stephen Moose noticed our perdictiment. I asked Stephen and his brother, Stacy, for their recommendations for a fair wrecker service and repair garage. A few phone calls later, the obvious choice was Davis Wrecker Service and Mullinax Auto. Stephen and Stacy gave us permission to park my camper on family property next door to the church, so we could make an attempt to limp the Tahoe to Mullinax Auto that night. Stephen gave me his number and insisted that I call them if we had any additional problems. After unhooking and securing camper, I managed to drive about 5 feet away from it before the Tahoe refused to go any further. I called Stephen, and after their Wednesday evening gathering was over a short time later, Stephen and Stacy gave Renee, Blaze, and I a ride to the a Dahlonega motel. While en route, Stephen pointed out Craig Mullinax's garage. Early the following morning, I called Davis' wrecker service and Stacy, of Mullinax Auto. The wrecker driver was very helpful, and Stacy quickly became a candidate for sainthood! Craig may do the heavy lifting at his shop, but his sister, Stacy, does everything else... including helping out in the garage bays! Renee, Blaze, and I caught an Uber to a nearby Uhaul dealer, paid a painful $530.00 for a 26' truck to drag my 6'X8' camper back to Florida, and then met with Stacy and Craig in person. Craig was very patient as he outlined my options before I opted for a factory rebuilt, 3 year/100,000 mile Jasper rear end. Craig and Stacy's efficiency and helpfulness was a huge blessing along the process, and Craig found other issues that I was aware... and not aware of... during the process. My oil pressure gauge had not been replaced during a recent engine swap, and Craig reminded me of this. Craig fixed this as well as several other things he brought to my attention. Craig also determined the source that caused the rear-end to go out... a severely bent control arm that was probably damaged before I purchased the Tahoe several years prior. Craig had these repairs and the rear-end swap complete before I actually had an opportunity to take off work for another road trip several weeks after the break down. Since I prefer "paid for" vehicles instead of huge vehicle payments, I prefer to rebuild, restore, and renovate instead of replacing. Mullinax Auto was a huge blessing in this process! Many, many thanks to Craig, Stacy, Mullinax Auto, Stephen and Stacy Moose, and Davis Wrecker Service for all of your help during this process! May you each be abundantly blessed! I highly recommend Mullinax Auto for all of your repair needs!

Replaced the ignition module with a cheap aftermarket replica. Once, I picked up my truck the check engine light came on and would not go off. I got the engine light checked, it came up saying there was an issue with the module that was replaced. My truck began overheating and shutting off even more frequently, so I called Mullinax, in hopes to get it looked at ASAP, but the front desk lady, told me the quickest they could see me was over a week. She also made unprofessional and rude remarks to me. However, Mike, an employee at Mullinax has been nothing but helpful through the process and is a great asset to their business. Luckily, I got my truck fixed elsewhere. Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection
