We applied. Two weeks later, no news. I send a note, I get a response basically saying they will reach out whenever, no info really, but I felt like I was a bother for asking. I follow up after another week of silence. I get an email the next day that they've denied admission. I personally think they're full for the designated age since, before I applied, they mentioned already receiving more applications than spots. I also wonder if they just didn't want to deal with my child's IEP over other, less needy applicants. No call, no conversation, just a three sentence email in the most impersonal way. I wonder if they really considered my child in all honestly, maybe just waited us out for other people to commit who applied before us. It's not like their application requirements didn't put us through extensive work or anything.
