You may have heard the quote If the music is good, you dance I believe if the instruction is good, you learn. My son takes piano lessons. Although we have worked with several different instructors, FAME ranks far above any other music school we have tried. From the moment you step into the building, you sense professionalism. The entrance is beautifully decorated and organized. The state-of-the art equipment, classroom layout, and showcase performances are all arranged with thoughtful attention to detail. Students are greeted warmly when they arrive as the owners Scott and Charity have taken the time to learn each students name and instrument they play. There is an efficiency to the lessons that I have not seen anywhere else. During lessons his teacher, Sudie sits at one piano while my son sits at another piano next to it. Sudie often shows him how to play a measure without having to get up/move/ or slide down. It also affords the technique of teacher playing a line and student repeat, which enables more seamless practice. As a parent, I also appreciate the collaborative efforts of the owners. Scott and Charity have gone above and beyond to ensure a positive relationship with us. They have sent me personal emails and texts, provided exceptional photos and videos and with the on-line portal, we are able to track his progress making the instruction a true team effort. The experience of learning music at FAME will inspire anyone to get up and dance.
