Dentistry at Vickery Creek: John Ananthasane DMD, MS

WARNING before choosing this practice (from a healthcare professional)!!! Expensive, overpriced, unethical!!! I have been a patient of Dr. Johns for 4 or 5 years and had a LOT of work done by him and paid them thousands upon thousands of dollars as soon as theyve asked for payment every time. Back in October 2023 I went in for a permanent filling and we decided to wait until the following month when my insurance restarted to do the procedure. Dr. John looked in my mouth to check on the temporary filling which took LESS than 2 minutes and they are charging me $100.00 for his time. That same day they had called me and told me to come on in early for a cleaning then as soon as I walked in said I couldnt do it that day since my insurance money was already used up. They didnt care about my time wasted! I am a nurse practitioner and Ive seen countless patients for a quick listen or look and never went back and charged them or their insurance because it is just not how you treat people. Its not ethically correct. June at the front desk, who is Dr. Johns wife, is so rude and only cares about the money. Keep reading other reviews and youll see more just like this. Another example of why they shouldnt charge me $100.00 for an 2 minute look: I went in July 2022 for an abscessed tooth, he started a root canal and did not finish it. I ended up in the ER that night with complications and required two sites to be incision & drained where he had made things so much worse!! Saw another dentist and he did the root canal that Dr. John should have done! That ER visit cost me a lot of money and time but I never said a thing! ***To make things even more clear I have found a new dentist who can confirm Dr. Johns office charges double sometimes triple what he and other dentist offices in the area charge!!* Do yourself and your wallet a favor and go somewhere else! I promise you can find another dentist with good bedside manner who would look in a long time patients mouth for quite literally 2 minutes and not change them. Ive found one and hes qualified and good hearted.

Guys u need to remember to ask the price before coming here so you don't get scam , they was doing gud but not anymore LOL, they just want to take money from customers and do a terrible job.

Today was our first appointment, they confirmed me and my husband at the same day, after 1hour 15minutes of waiting, they said to reschedule my appointment as they dont have any hygienist for cleaning available. Worst experience

Our experience with Dr. John and his staff has been superior. They are skilled, patient, and kind. They are always concerned about your comfort and pain avoidance. June does a great job of scheduling. She also goes out of her way to welcome you, and makes sure your visit goes smoothly. We have been using them for many years, and are well pleased.
